The people behind Shortlead.com.au came to iQmultimedia with their vision of creating a web portal designed for organisations and government departments to check online date availability and live meeting and event rates across Australia and New Zealand. iQm were initially enlisted to create the logo for the web based company. With almost all of shortlead's business being corporate based and being providers of a modern style service, it was important that Shortlead's logo was smart and contemporary.
iQm created a professional mark for the start up company that included an abstract "mouse and cord" icon which has also been lovingly referred to as "the flower". The flowing line also represents the smooth process of booking your meeting and conference space through Shortlead.com.au, while italic typography was chosen to represent the forward thinking ideals that the company embraces. iQm also designed Shortlead's visual identity in conjunction with the logo which included the original website design and various print materials.
